Rather than repairing the existing circuit, I created a new one from the nearby subpanel, located 20 feet away. I installed a two-pole 20-amp breaker, which will later be replaced with a GFI breaker. I ran Schedule 80 PVC conduit to the pump and installed a 4” x 4” junction box adjacent to the pump. The wiring was then connected directly to the pump, ensuring a secure and efficient setup.
